It operates through two segments: Nexgel and CG labs. The company offers over-the-counter remedy solutions, such as blister and pain applications; and beauty and cosmetic solutions. It also develops NEXDrape, an incise surgical drape designed for patients with impaired skin; and NEXDerm, an adhesive tape designed to secure central lines and intravenous tubes and devices to patients before, during, and after medical treatment. In addition, the company engages in the converting and packaging business. It serves its customers under Medagel, Kenkoderm and Silly George brand names. The company was formerly known as AquaMed Technologies, Inc. and changed its name to NEXGEL, Inc. in November 2019. NEXGEL, Inc. was incorporated in 2009 and is based in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
