In addition, it provides education services to 20 university partners. Grand Canyon Education, Inc. was formerly known as Significant Education, Inc. and changed its name to Grand Canyon Education, Inc. in August 2005. The company was founded in 1949 and is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona.
