In addition, the company develops energy solutions for AI and data center applications; and offers Energy Surplus Program, an integrated architecture. The company was formerly known as Capstone Green Energy Holdings, Inc. and changed its name to Capstone Energy+, Inc. in April 2026. The company was founded in 1988 and is headquartered in Van Nuys, California.
